What gets removed
Photos from phones and cameras often hide extra information inside them: the place where you took it, the camera or phone, and the date and time. This tool redraws each photo from its pictures only, so none of that comes along. Where it can, it tells you what it found. The picture itself looks the same.
How to use it
- Drop your photos onto the box, or press Choose photos. iPhone photos work too.
- Each card tells you what was removed. For JPG photos it lists what it found, such as location, camera and date.
- Press Save, or Save all as one zip.
- Share the clean copies instead of the originals.

What details do photos hide?
Photos from phones and cameras often carry a hidden note: where you were when you took it, the camera or phone that took it, and the date and time. Anyone who gets the original file can read it.
Will the photo look different?
No. The picture is saved again at high quality, so it looks the same. Only the hidden information is left behind.
Does it remove things I can see in the photo?
No. It only removes hidden information. A street sign, a house number or a face that is visible in the picture stays visible.
What kind of file do I get back?
A JPG stays a JPG and a PNG stays a PNG. WebP pictures and iPhone photos come out as JPGs.
Should I clean photos before posting them online?
It is a good habit before sharing. Some websites remove this information when you upload, but not all of them do, so cleaning first is the safe choice.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The cleaning happens inside your browser, so your photos never leave your device.
