About JPG to PNG
PNG files are a lossless format, handy when a program or site asks for PNG. Turning a JPG into a PNG cannot bring back detail the JPG already lost, and the file will be larger. Drop the photos in, then save them one by one or all together as a zip.
How to use it

Why would I turn a JPG into a PNG?
Some programs and forms ask for PNG. It is also useful if you plan to edit the picture a lot, because PNG does not lose any more detail each time it is saved.
Will the picture look better?
No. Turning a JPG into a PNG cannot bring back detail that the JPG already lost. It just stores the same picture in a different kind of file.
Why is the PNG so much bigger?
JPG shrinks photos by discarding fine detail. PNG keeps everything, so the file for a photo is many times larger. Photos may go from around 1 MB to many megabytes.
Can I get a see-through background this way?
No. A JPG has no see-through areas, so the PNG will not either. To cut out the background, use Remove background.
Is my photo uploaded?
No. It stays on your device.
